So dua - Coconut boy

Once upon a time, there in a village had a couple who worked as servants for a landlord. Although they were over fifty years old, they had ever not had a child. They were sad about that, but they had never given up to dream about a child. One day, it's a very hot day, when the wife was working in the field and felt very thirsty. She seeked for water, but she didn't see any but a little water in a skull which was in a hole beside an ancient tree. She had no choice but to drink it. Right the moment she drank, the feeling of cold water running from her throat to her stomach made her felt very comfortable. As a magic, she was pregnant after that short time. Then, the husband died before he got the happiness looking his child be born.
After nine months and ten days, the wife gave birth a son but he didn't look like any child on the world. He had no feet, no leg, and even no body. He just had a head with full of eyes, nose, ear, hair and mouth on it. He didn't ugly but was too strange.
The heart of the wife was broken in pieces as she saw him. She planned to leave the child because she thought he would die. However, the son was clever and healthy. He seemed to understand his mother's attention.
“Momy! I'm your son. Don’t leave me, mom!” he said.
The mother broke into tears. She held up her son and fed him. She named him So Dua (Coconut) and decided to take care of him as like normal children.
Her master forced her to leave her son when he heard she gave birth to a monster but So Dua's mother didn't. Therefore, he made her and So Dua to live in a hut at corner of garden, away from his house. Everyday she went to the landlord's house, worked there till afternoon. She brought some rice back for So Dua as she came back. So Dua grew up each day. He get more intelligent and knowledge. His body turned bigger till it had the size of a coconut. He rolled to move.
Everyday, when his mother went to landlord's house, So Dua stayed at home and transformed into a clever and handsome boy. He helped his mother clean their hut. After he finished, he transformed into the former shape. His mother, of course, could easily realize things strange but she didn't get the chance to discover it.
One night, his mother sighed: “Others can herd when they are seven years old, while,” she said, got in silent but So Dua had heard.
“Mother, I can herd." said So Dua, "Please ask our master to let me herd."
To satisfy So Dua, his mother insisted her master to let him herd and he agreed. The next morning, So Dua rolled, drove buffaloes to field and thn afternoon, he drove them back to landlord's house. All buffaloes went back with bellies full of grass. His master was very pleased.
So Dua used to drove buffaloes away their home so the landlord forced his daughters to bring food for him. He had three daughters and each of them brought food to So Dua each day. The oldest daughter and the second daughter were too lazy to take to So Dua’s right place. They always put food away So Dua and called him to come. On the other hand, the youngest daughter, also the kindest, always brought food to place where So Dua was. One day, when she was on the way taking food to So Dua, she heard someone was playing music. She approached and what she saw was a smart, handsome boy who was tootling. The boy was no one but So Dua. At the moment she saw his nice appearance, she fell in love with him. However, she didn't tell it to any one. Even So Dua didn't know that he was seen.
Years passed and So Dua, now, was old enough to get married. He asked his mother to go to landlord's house, asked him to let one of his daughters become his wife. As soon as his mother heard his sayings, she gave him a weak smile and said softly: “Oh, my son, look at yourself! nobody wants to marry with you. You know it, right?.”
Instead of felling sad about his mother's sayings, So Dua insisted his mother to do his intention every day. At last, she accepted. She found the way to her master's house and requested a wedding.
After her master heard, he sneered.
"Only if you and your son can bring here a chest of gold,  three fat pigs, ten big wine barrels, ten sheets of silk. Besides, he have to manage to build a nice house for my daughter to live in, I will let him marry with one of the girl”.
He believed that So Dua and his mother would never met his request.
So Dua's mother also believed it. She was so sad. She come home and told So Dua about that. Unlike her thinking, So Dua was so calm, he said:
“Mom, please, turn back master's home and tell him I have all the things”.
His mother found the way back landlord's house and told him that they have enough things he need. The landlord was very surprised but he had to do what he said. He called his daughters to come.
"Who want to be So Dua's wife?" he asked
The first, the oldest refused.
"I don't want to marry with him. He's ugly." she said.
The second, the mid refused.
"He's disable." she yelled
"And you?" he turned to the youngest daughter who still kept silent.
"If you want, I can not disobey you. You are my father." said the yongest. People gave her odd looks but she had decided.
The place where So Dua and his mother stayed was still a hut right before the wedding day. So Dua's mother was so worried. She thought that would never have any nice house in the next morning and her son would never able to marry with landlord's daughter. However, when she woke up at the next morning, she found out that she was in the beautiful house with several servants. Thinking it was a beautiful dream but it was the true. So Dua and ten servants was preparing to bring wedding presents to bride’s house. All villagers participated in the wedding. Although hideous muttering, the bride was very happy. A big sweet smile was always on her face.

In the night party, instead of So Dua they always saw, the saw a intelligent, handsome boy who said that he was So dua. People were completely shocked but happy, except two older sisters of bride. So Dua's mother broke in to tears but they were happy tears.
After So Dua married, So Dua studied very hard, passed the official exams and became a mandarin. So Dua's mother died after that short time while So Dua had to go abroad. Before he left, he gave his wife a knife, a flint and two eggs. He told her that she had to always bring them because they would help her as she was in danger.
The older sisters had been waiting for a chance to harm the young wife. One day, they gave her a cup of water with sleepy poision in it. They put her in a small boat and pushed it away from seaside. When she woke up, she had been in midsea. She still had not known to do, a big whale appeared suddenly and gulped the boat and her. Still taking the things her husband gave, grabbed a nife, she stuck all directon through the dark. Everything upseted, she couldn’t stand, rolled from side to side and could hear loud noises the whale dropped into water. She tried to stuck again and again until didn’t hear any noises. The whale was dead, his body drifted an island, she made a hole at whale's stomach and went out. She splitted the whale into pieces, dried it and stored to eat.
She used the flint to make fire so she could cook and keep warm. The eggs broke out two chickens, a rooster and a hen. They became her friend in the island and waited crossing ships together. A day, when she was sleeping, she heard the rooster crowing.
"Who are you? Do you my mistress's husband who come to bring her out here?" crowed the rooster.
She ran to seaside. It's a ship which was approaching her island. She broke in to tears because the person who appeared on the ship was her husband, So Dua. They ran toward the other, hugged tightly.
She told him whole story and that make him so angry. Although he had taken her come home, he didn’t tell anyone his wife was alive. He organized and invited all neighbor including the sisters. He asked the sisters about his wife. They cried and said it was a accident, they had tried all their ability to save the young sisters but the could not. They were very painful about that. So Dua didn't say any thing. He requested to go bedroom and went back with his wife minutes later. The sisters gaped because of surprise and shame, they left the party in silence. After that nobody had seen them.

Gorgon

In Greek mythology, a Gorgon  is a mythical creature portrayed in ancient Greek literature. While descriptions of Gorgons vary across Greek literature and occur in the earliest examples of Greek literature, the term commonly refers to any of three sisters who had hair made of living, venomous snakes, as well as a horrifying visage that turned those who beheld her to stone. Traditionally, while two of the Gorgons were immortal, Stheno and Euryale, their sister Medusa was not and she was slain by the demigod and hero Perseus. The large Gorgon eyes, as well as Athena 's "flashing" eyes, are symbols termed "the divine eyes" by Gimbutas (who did not originate the perception); they appear also in Athena's sacred bird, the owl. They may be represented by spirals, wheels, concentric circles, swastikas, firewheels, and other images. Anyone who would gaze into their eyes would be turned to stone instantly. Scylla And Nisus

MINOS was the first king to control the Mediterranean Sea, which he cleared of pirates, and in Crete ruled over ninety cities. When the Athenians had murdered his son Androgeus, he decided to take vengeance on them, and sailed around the Aegean collecting ships and armed levies. Some islanders agreed to help him, some refused. Siphnos yielded to him by the Princess Arne, whom he bribed with gold; the gods changed her into a jackdaw which loves gold and all things that glitter. He made an alliance with the people of Anaphe, but rebuffed by King Aeacus of Aegina and departed, swearing revenge. Aeacus then answered an appeal from Cephalus to join the Athenians against Minos . b. Meanwhile, Minos was partying the Isthmus of Corinth. He laid siege to Nisa, ruled by Nisus the Egyptian, who had a daughter name Scylla. A tower stood in the city, built by Apollo [and Poseidon ?], an at its foot lay a musical stone which, if pebbles were dropped upon from above, rang like a lyre-because Ap...

Sisyphus

SISYPHUS, son of Aeolus, married Atlas ’s daughter Merope, the Pleiad, who bore him Glaucus , Ornytion , and Sinon, and owned a fine herd of cattle on the Isthmus of Corinth. b. Near him lived Autolycus , son of Chione , whose twin-brother Philammon was begotten by Apollo , though Autolycus himself claimed Hermes as his father. c. Now, Autolycus was a past master in theft, Hermes having given him the power of metamorphosing whatever beasts he stole, from horned to unhorned, or from black to white, and contrariwise. Thus although Sisyphus noticed that his own herds grew steadily smaller while those of Autolycus increased, he was unable at first to accuse him of theft; and therefore, one day, engraved the inside of all his cattle’s hooves with the monogram SS or, some say, with the words ‘Stolen by Autolycus’. That night Autolycus helped himself as usually and at dawn hoof-prints along the road provided Sisyphus with sufficient evidence to summon neighbours in witness of the th...
