Giong

Once upon a time, a woman was old but she had not given birth a child. One day, when she went to her field, she saw a stranger footsore on the ground. The big footsore made her surprise and said: “omg, this footsore is so big” the she put her foot into the footsore. More 9 months later, she gave birth to a little boy named Giong. The boy was extraordinary that he was over three years old but had not spoken. He only knew lying and smiling.
That year, the enemies they were known An planed to attack the country of the boy. They were merciless. Wherever they had gone, houses were ruined, fields were fired, people were killed. The sight behind them is mess of corpse and blood and ashes. The King was worry he forced his servants to look for person who could fight against the enemies.
Giong
One day, a servent went to Giong’s village while the woman was holding the boy in her arms, she said sadly that: “Giong, I wonder that when you have grown up to fight against the enemies. Oh my son, you still have not spoken.” But didn’t like she thought, Giong spoke suddenly: “Mom, call the servants of the King for me, please!” then he was speechless again. Being surprised, the woman talked to all neighbours what she had heard. People went to Giong’s house. At last, an old woman said them that: “Why we don’t call the servant of the king for him?” They agreed and invited the servants.
The servant came but they only saw a three-year-old child, he said furiously:”Are you kidding me. Look! That three-year-old child will fight to enemies. Do you think I am mad, don’t you?” But the child said him clearly:” you come back the castle and talk the king make an iron horse, an iron sword and an iron hat then take them back here. I will drive off them away.”
All people who had heard the Giong’s words seem to be surprised, they talked to others that Giong was a deity who came from heaven to help them attack the enemies. The servant rode instantly toward the castle the said the strange story to the king. The king was very happy then he forced greatest blacksmiths to make all things Giong needed. They had made things in a short time but the things were heavy that they could not lift them. You could image that dozens of people couldn’t bring the iron sword. The king had to make a thousand soldiers to bring things came for Giong.
When Giong’s mother heard that all things Giong need had done, she was very worried and talked:”My son, my poor son, fighting enemies wasn’t a joking. Now, the king had brought all thing came. What do we have to do now?”
“Mother, don’t worry. Fighting the enemies was my duty but you have to feed me enough for me became an adult” Giong replied
Giong’s mother cooked a large pot with full of rice in it but he ate all but still hungry. She cooked again and again until he had eaten the tenth pot he transformed into a burly man but he wasn’t full. The food in his house was over his mother had to ask neighbour to help. All of them brought rice, meat, fruit stuck on the yard on his house but he ate all them immediately so they continued bringing.
He asked his mother to made clothes but (I think you can not image) he grew up too fast that made all clothes he wore was torn.
At last, Giong stopped eating. He stood up, stretched his arms. In front of people face now that was a gigantic man with a head reached the roof.
He said loudly: “I am a general of heaven”. Then he wore the iron hat, the iron clothes, took the iron sword then said goodbye his mother. He mounted on the horse. The horse took off its front legs; roared up then two frames appeared from his nostrils. They shot toward Battlefield. Seconds later they disappeared in distance.
Giong went up the crow of enemies, grabbed his sword and crossed it through enemies’ necks. His horse, in other hand, ejected violent fire toward enemies. Surround Giong, now, were smoke, fire, corpses, blood, ashes and voice of cries anywhere.  But the leader of enemies still forced his soldier to fight. Therefore, wherever Giong had come enemies had been killed. Suddenly, his sword was broken but Giong was not nervous he pulled up bamboos which were beside the road and swept them.
The enemies was frighten they ran toward all direction to save their lives. All of them who were alive surrendered. He kill the leader of enemies and  tied up remainder by ropes and led to the king.
After that, He went to Soc-Son mountain, putted off the hat and clothes then flew up heaven with the horse.
To thanks Giong, people who lived in the country built a temple at the village where Giong was born. They called him Thanh Giong ( St. Giong)
The end. 🎭🎭🎭

Gorgon

In Greek mythology, a Gorgon  is a mythical creature portrayed in ancient Greek literature. While descriptions of Gorgons vary across Greek literature and occur in the earliest examples of Greek literature, the term commonly refers to any of three sisters who had hair made of living, venomous snakes, as well as a horrifying visage that turned those who beheld her to stone. Traditionally, while two of the Gorgons were immortal, Stheno and Euryale, their sister Medusa was not and she was slain by the demigod and hero Perseus. The large Gorgon eyes, as well as Athena 's "flashing" eyes, are symbols termed "the divine eyes" by Gimbutas (who did not originate the perception); they appear also in Athena's sacred bird, the owl. They may be represented by spirals, wheels, concentric circles, swastikas, firewheels, and other images. Anyone who would gaze into their eyes would be turned to stone instantly. Scylla And Nisus

MINOS was the first king to control the Mediterranean Sea, which he cleared of pirates, and in Crete ruled over ninety cities. When the Athenians had murdered his son Androgeus, he decided to take vengeance on them, and sailed around the Aegean collecting ships and armed levies. Some islanders agreed to help him, some refused. Siphnos yielded to him by the Princess Arne, whom he bribed with gold; the gods changed her into a jackdaw which loves gold and all things that glitter. He made an alliance with the people of Anaphe, but rebuffed by King Aeacus of Aegina and departed, swearing revenge. Aeacus then answered an appeal from Cephalus to join the Athenians against Minos . b. Meanwhile, Minos was partying the Isthmus of Corinth. He laid siege to Nisa, ruled by Nisus the Egyptian, who had a daughter name Scylla. A tower stood in the city, built by Apollo [and Poseidon ?], an at its foot lay a musical stone which, if pebbles were dropped upon from above, rang like a lyre-because Ap...

Sisyphus

SISYPHUS, son of Aeolus, married Atlas ’s daughter Merope, the Pleiad, who bore him Glaucus , Ornytion , and Sinon, and owned a fine herd of cattle on the Isthmus of Corinth. b. Near him lived Autolycus , son of Chione , whose twin-brother Philammon was begotten by Apollo , though Autolycus himself claimed Hermes as his father. c. Now, Autolycus was a past master in theft, Hermes having given him the power of metamorphosing whatever beasts he stole, from horned to unhorned, or from black to white, and contrariwise. Thus although Sisyphus noticed that his own herds grew steadily smaller while those of Autolycus increased, he was unable at first to accuse him of theft; and therefore, one day, engraved the inside of all his cattle’s hooves with the monogram SS or, some say, with the words ‘Stolen by Autolycus’. That night Autolycus helped himself as usually and at dawn hoof-prints along the road provided Sisyphus with sufficient evidence to summon neighbours in witness of the th...
