In a small village, there had a beautiful girl. People living around her all praised her beauty. The girl had a dream, marrying with a prince but she also kept the dream for herself, in secret.
A trader had a shop in that village, fell in love with her beauty. He used to tease he whenever he walked pass his shop but the girl always replied him with stern face. Though, he didn’t give up, still caught chances to talk with her. And a strange thing he found out was, she bought incense each day. He wondered: “What does she do with the incense?” Therefore, he followed her when he left the street-market to discover what she will do with the incense. The girl walked in a temple on the way leading to home. The trader walked after her and hid himself behind a door and he heard entire her wish she prayed God.
The next time, he waited the girl bought incense, he sprinted to the temple, hid himself after statues. When the last word went out from her mouth, a voice suddenly came out from statues.
“You will not marry with a prince. Marrying with the trader in street-market is your fate. Don’t wish anymore, you can’t change your fate”.

The next morning, she went to street-market, the trader continued giving her sweet saying and that time wasn’t same others, she conversed with him. The trader immediately knew that he had success. Therefore, he continued flirting. Besides, she had strong belief that she could only marry with that trader. At last, she accepted him but he was too old to marry with her and he knew her parent would have never accepted their wedding. Then, he planned to bring her away without anybody's attention. He entreated her to go to his hometown and when he got her agreement, he started planning. Her duty was waiting for him in bush by road on exact day he said her and he would bring her away as he crossed.
When they met the other at few days later, he asked her to sit in a big basket made of bamboo then covered it carefully as if it was a goods basket. He also had another basket which was used to contain his goods. After tied the basket carefully, he hang two baskets on a pole then shouldered them away.
The trader was in good mood crossing a forest, suddenly, he heard screams of soldiers, who were after him, barks of dogs soldiers brought that made him tremble because of fear. He thought that someone found out what he did and accused to mandarin. So, he left his baskets and ran away. But, there were soldiers who followed a prince who was hunting in that forest. Dogs barked noisily when they approached one of baskets and smelled it. Soldiers felt something in that basket suspect so they untied it and discovered a beautiful girl in it. The prince rode near and seemed to fall in love with her one. He had never met anyone who was beautiful like that. Therefore, he handed her, led to a fallen tree and conversed. They had a familiar conversation which made the prince felt more infatuated as he heard about her wish. At last, the prince invited her to go with him to the castle he wanted marry with her. Before they left, the prince ordered soldiers to put the tiger the just caught in to the basket and tied again.
The trader went back when the prince, the girl and soldiers had gone. Of course, he didn’t know the girl was replaced by a tiger. He shouldered and continued going to home. When he arrived to home, people rounded and asked:
“What is in the large basket?”
“Don't be curious. Tiger in it”, he joked, then brought the basket into his private room and opened…
